Please tell me if the NETGEAR Dual-Band AC1200 is worth it

IF thats something that you feel fits your home networking needs and you don't need anything more then that, then it would work. 

All kind of depends on what your doing at home, streaming, downloading, gaming, simple internet crawling and how many devices you have. If you want to future prooof, then this router wouldn't be a good fit as its getting up in age being on the market. You may want soemthing a bit newer.
