Ports Closing on Netgear Nighthawk X8

Question

Hi.&nbsp;&nbsp;I have an Nighthawk X8.&nbsp; I have port forwarding setup on the router along with static ip address saved for different devices on the network. We also use filemaker remotely. Every so often I have to reboot the router&nbsp; in order for the port to open back up. It is like it has to refresh. Once it reboots we are able to connect remotely again.&nbsp;&nbsp;What could be the problem with this? any suggestions will help.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thanks in advance&nbsp;&nbsp;

We are connected to filemaker remotely on port 5003

We can connect just fine. Its just every so often we have to reboot the rooter because the port closes and we cannot connect.

But once we reboot the router we can connect again.
