power adapter

hello, I am currently overseas military, looking at my old r8000 ac3200 router power brick it states 100-120v ~ 50/60hz 1.5A... (P/N: 332-10631-01) the power here is 240v, aren't ALL netgear power supplies dual voltage, and this one just doesn't state it? do I need to purchase a new one? thank you in advance.

Legally, the answer answer is printed on the power supply label.

Technically, it's a switching power supply.

And it's your router, your power supply. You are connecting with your AC cables, it's your responsibility for your connected devices, your accommodation, your housing, your roommates, your visitors.

Not sure about that one, but some could do 220v but weren't approved for it. Don't know if thats one. If you plug it in and it melts, its not. (just have it unplugged from the router when you do so)

the only nice thing is that router is over a decade old so there's plenty of after market power supplies if you decide to go that route. Or just buy one thats 220v. Just make sure it has the same output as the original .
