R6020
I was able to connect my R6020 router (using the SSID & Password on the label) to my existing ZyXEL C1100Z CenturyLink Modem/Router via the LAN port.
The router is immediately recognized, the password accepted and it works very good, but I want to upgrade the firmware and customize the SSID & password.
I downloaded the Nighthawk app and it immediately recognizes the router and it indicated the firmware was out of date, however, I cannot log into it using the default admin SSID & password as indicated on the back of the router. I correctly entered the serial number but then the app asks two security questions. I have no idea what these are.
I also pressed the reset button for 7+ seconds, powered the router off but still no success getting into Nighthawk app (iPadOS) to perform any functions.
Any help appreciated.

Don't use crappy apps to configure a router. Try http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 in a browser. If the IP doesn't work, you can try http://10.0.0.1
