If the wireless verizon mifi is a router – it isn't something I have encounted – then an alternative to bridge (repeater) mode could be to use the r6300v2 as a wireless access point (AP).

      Visit the support pages:

      Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Check the section in the manual Wireless Access Point (AP).
