R6700v2 minidlna causing severe performance degradation and eventual hang

Question

My R6700V2 starts bogging down and eventually hangs. I've been able to isolate the issue to the minidlna process. Just after a reboot, I will telnet in and run top.&nbsp; The minidlna process is always on the top of the list, using 20% or more CPU.&nbsp; The only way to fix this is to disable the media server. However, after a reboot, the "enable media server" box is checked by default and I have to remember to login and disable it.&nbsp; I have two questions please: 1) why is minidlna using so much CPU and causing performance degradation? 2) how can I permanently disable the media server?&nbsp; Thanks.

What is the firmware version of the router?&nbsp;

Was this working before?&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Please make sure that you have the latest firmware installed (1.2.0.16) and factory reset the router.&nbsp;
