R6700v3 loss of connection to Spectrum Modem
I have a R6700v3 at a FL location, connected to the internet via Spectrum Modem. The modem and the R6700 are powered through a UPS that will maintain for 30-45 minutes (FL has notoriously poor power integrity, with a lot of momentary outages or flickers).
Everything ran well all winter, and our devices (RING, camera, Honeywell thermostat) stayed on line. We are now remote from FL, and for some reason, (perhaps extended power outage exceeding the capability of the UPS) the R6700 has lost connection with the modem (which has been rebooted and appears to check out OK), and we cannot get it to reconnect.
R6700v3
Firmware: V1.0.4.106
Any suggestions regarding:
1./ why we've lost connection with the internet modem (is the order of reboot critical - modem must be first, for example?)
2./ Is there a way to connect the R6700 with the nighthawk app? The app says it's "unable to connect to the router".
I'm beginning to think my purchase of the Netgear router was a poor decision.
All help appreciated.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

All cables are good quality and new.
I do not have the specs on the Spectrum modem as I am not on-site.
The problem appears to occur when there is a prolonged (>45 minutes) power outage that exhausts the UPS (which was installed to eliminate the disruption of momentary outages). When the power comes back on the modem and the Netgear router are powered back on at the same time but complete their boot cycle at different times. At some point the router is supposed to link with the modem but fails to do so. So, I guess the question is... must the modem complete it's boot cycle and reconnect to the internet (Spectrum) first, then the router can link with it, or should it not make a difference?
Thanks!

Should make a big difference however anything maybe possible with the modem your using. If the router is ready before the modem is, then there could be problems at the modem side.
