r6700v3 randomly loses internet over ethernet only

For a few months now I will randomly lose my internet just over the ethernet connection and not wifi. My computer that is wired to the router will drop connection but my phone will maintain internet over wifi at the same time. It does not seem to matter what I am doing as it has happened while streaming, gaming, working or just browsing. The fix for it seems very weird to me and is why I thought for the longest time it was just the lan port on my motherboard having issues. If I unplug the ethernet cable from the computer and plug it right back in, the internet comes back almost immediately. However I just last week upgraded my computer with a new motherboard and cpu and I still have the same issue. I have tried updating the firmware on the router, updated my lan drivers, tried assigning an ip address to the computer, let the router assign it, changed out ethernet cables, tried different ethernet ports on the router. I currently have firmware V1.0.4.102_10.0.75, I am using a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro motherboard, my modem is a Hitron E31N2V1 Docsis 3.1. I had issues when I first got the router with randomly losing internet that were related to my modem and router not playing nice because my ISP didn't properly document I had my own router and not the one they provided. This time though I don't have to reset the router to get the connection back and at that time I was losing all internet, not just ethernet.

I'm not sure what else to try as I've tried to eliminate every point of possible failure and after the new motherboard had the same issue I can only assume it's the router.

have you tried replacing the cable?

Do any other wired devices have issues?

I have tried a different ethernet cable. My computer is the only thing directly wired to the router.

Try a different port on the router?

You have anything else you can hardwire in?

It tough to say 100% when its only 1 device having issues. I understand you rebuilt it but it wouldn't be the first time of something having an issue with a windows 10 build.
