"but it won't connect" is really, really, really, thin on details!
Some standard questions:
What is the brand name and model number of the modem/ONT that is connected to the internet upstream of your R6900v2?
What is the version number of the firmware currently installed on your R6900v2? The latest, is not a version number. Log in to the user interface and look in the upper right hand corner of the first page.
On your Wi-Fi configuration:
Do you have smart connect enabled?
Do you have 20/40 coexistence enabled?
What channel do you have set for the 2.4 GHz band?
For the 2.4 GHz band, what authentication method do you have set? WPA2, WPA3, none...
How do you try to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi? Through a web browser? Through a mobile application?

Recommend you disable smart connect. This will give you a different and distinct SSID for both the 2.4 GHz band and the 5 GHz band.
Recommend you disable 20/40 coexistence. In general, items in the IoT world cannot take advantage of or need the 40 MHz wide channel.
Recommend you manually set the 2.4 GHz channel to 6 or 11. The auto function can interact poorly with some IoT devices.
Make certain you have turned off the cell data connection on your smart phone and connect to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band before you start your camera configuration application.
The authentication method is fine at WPA2. If you still fail to connect to your camera, you might try setting this to NONE on a temporary basis. Check if you can connect. Do not leave it at NONE for long term.
