R6900v2 serial number registered to someone else

I purchased this router from a Walmart, but I’ve come to the conclusion it is a return due to the fact that the ethernet cable was missing and the serial number is registered to another account. If someone could unregistered this serial number (4WKK14BXA166C) I would prefer that to returning this perfectly functioning device to go get another one. Please help ASAP
  • I ended up returning the router. All the same models had been opened previously and returned in some shape form or fashion so I got a sealed product instead

You can try contacting support for help with that.

To get a hold of support. Click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process. Keep in mind that its only free for the first 90 days.

        Sucks when that happens.

Hope the new one works well for you!
