R7000 100NA Power fades to nothing.

About one year old. Simply went out of service. No power. When power is first turned on the orange power lamp is bright. After a minute or so the power lamp fades to barely glowing.

The other indicator lamps show bright when first turned on but they to fade out with the power going out. However the ethernet connection will still connect and drive my computer internet.

 

SO it appears to be a power problem.

Any advice?

    Try a different power adapter with same volts and amps seen on the stock adapter...

    I'd also check your currently power supply to see if it was switched with your modem/gateway. I've seen that happen when they both have the same plug.
