R7000 and latest beta 1.0.6.40_1.1.90 small cosmetic bug
Hi,
I updated recently to 1.06.40. For now, it seems much more stable than previous 1.0.5 and 1.0.6.28 versions
I still have it to run for a few days without reboot and under havy p2p load to see if it stalls like previous versions
However, speed seems same in NAS Tester tool and over WAN for my 250 mbps connection
One small thing: Arlo option is only shown under Basic setup, not under Advanced. I missed it because I never use teh Basic tab!
Also, if I disable the Arlo, wifi connection related to the Arlo stays enabled until next rooter reboot
Other than broken ipv6, I see no other issues with this firmware. I will give feedback in a few days for long run stability under heavy p2p load
Hi Chopin70,
Please check this official firmware for stability.

Hi Chopin70,
Are you using the R7000 for Arlo purposes? If not, you may try using the beta firmware v1.0.5.62.

I use it as a general purpose, no need to Arlo services. However, I upgraded to beta because I need the Android OpenVPN support not present in current stable 1.0.4.30 version
I had tested 1.0.5.48 and 1.0.6.28 in the past and they were very unstable in the long run with a heavy load
Is 1.0.5.40 just an Arlo stripped 1.0.6.40 firmware that will provide same stability?
Thanks again for your support.

Also if you are running R7000 as Access Point 1.0.6.40 is fine.
