R7000 and mystery addresses
Have an R7000 members here helped me get running properly.
Next question. I have 50+ devices. Have the MACs for all of them. Logging in to the router though a browser, Basic>Attached devices shows 7 - 2 I can identify, 5 I can't.
Advanced>Security>Access Control shows 48 devices - 35 I can identify, 13 I can't. My list of MACs has 5 more than shows in the browser.
The windows Genie app shows 56 devices - 44 I can identify, 12 I can't. Still in Genie, I have 3 devices plugged in and working properly, but not showing in Genie (or the R7000 browser page. Of the 12 I can't identify, 4 will turn gray for a few seconds, then turn off for 1-4 minutes.
Thus, the R7000 shows devices for which I have no MACs and I have MACs for which the R7000 shows no devices. How do I resolve this?

Any of the wifi devices Apple OR Android and if so, do they have WiFi Private IP address or MAC Random Address enabled? IF so or you had this enabled at some point, possible one cause of these addresses
Sorry, I don't understand that.
" WiFi Private IP address or MAC Random Address " I don't know how to check either of these.
If it helps, some of these devices blink on/off every few minutes (grayed out to not). Some show up on one check, but are missing the next time.
I now show 15 unidentified devices in Genie>Network Map. I have my S21 phone beside me and and I'm typing this on my laptop.on. Neither show up in Network Map.
Here is a fun fact.
I have a device showing x.x.x.45 when I access the router through my browser.
It shows x.x.x.51 when I access the router through Genie.
Finally found it by typing in IP addresses in the browser. > x.x.x.36.
Why do I have 3 different IPs and why does the R7000 have both of it's guesses wrong?
