R7000 internet works but most devices won't connect
A few days ago we had a quick power blink and since then none of our devices (iphones, alexa, firesticks, exercise bike, ps4, etc) will connect to the internet except two laptops, which are both connected over wifi, not wired to the router. They all see the network and will connect to it but the wifi doesn't work. I spent an hour with internet company and they couldn't figure it out, we unplugged router and modem, forgot network, they finally said it's not a problem on their end. I tried everything I could find in forums to troubleshoot. I finally factory reset the router and set up a new network with a new network name and everything worked fine for a day, but now we are right back to the same problem again. Any ideas?

You have the r7000?
what firmware version is on it?
what actual modem is it connected to?
one thing to try is reinstall the firmware to it. a factory reset clears out old settings. If something from the power surge/issue causes the firmware to corrupt, you'd need to overwrite it to clear out the bad firmware.
so try reinstalling the firmware to it, do a factory reset again, then try it.
