Hi Garyr51,
Try to reset the router to factory default and reconfigure it manually. Change the channel of both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.
Hi PChell,
If your device is D7000, I would suggest posting it under DSL modem.

Hi sjavanovich,
1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. How many wireless devices connected? Are all of them having the same problem?
3. Does it happen on 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz or both connection?

I am having the same problem with my 2 month old R7000. Every few days, the wifi drops on all my devices. Both 2.4 and 5ghz. The only thing that seems to correct it, is a router reboot. I did a chat with a support rep, (case number 28222817) he recommended changing the channels to 11 and 153. (2.4 and 5ghz). I did this two days ago, had the same issue this morning. I am seeing a lot of R7000 customers online with the same issue. Is this a faulty router??

So, I ended up resetting the router by holding the reset button for 10 seconds. Before you do this, you may want to get your router up to the latest firmware. Resetting the router removed all settings and put it back to factory default, but left it at the latest firmware level. I went in an manually set everything up in the router again. I did NOT restore from a backup.
The router has been working fine for the past couple months since I have done this. I speculate that a cache or something was cleared in this process as all the settings I had before are now programmed in to the router. The only difference is that I get a continuous, strong WiFi signl all over the house with no drops.

I am still having the same problem. Wifi disconnects after about 2 days. Both 2.4 and 5ghz. I have tried the recommended channel changes, and a factory reset with a manual setup. Nothing seems to help. It dropped again yesterday. Had to reboot the router.
