R7000 Not allowing full speed
Need some help getting router to allow full ISP speed. Here’s where I’m at: Upgraded ISP speed to 300Mbps, but have always had consistent 96-98Mbps speed, even after upgrade. Had service provider her...

Apologies for leaving out that detail. I did read the manuals and troubleshooting as much as I could before posting, which is why I’m now posting because I’m stuck

Because I mentioned modem speeds are fine, but output after router seems to be the issue. Unless it’s cables, which I also mentioned I swapped out for new ones.

Agree and nothing to worry about here. I just posted that detail for context as to what was plugged into the router, since details are sometimes helpful.

Not sure why the link. Are you advising to try the latest firmware?

"cables" to _what_? The best cable on the planet won't make a slow
device faster.

Then about what, exactly, are you complaining? "speed" to _what_?

You seem to be trying different versions, none of which is the
latest. Any reason?
