R7350 AC2400 Firmware update reverts after completion
I am using the Nighthawk app on Android to update the firmware on my R7350 A2400 Nighthawk router.
The current firmware version is v1.2.0.74. The app indicates that the new version available is either v1.2.0.92 or v1.2.0.74_1.0.1.
I click the app's Update button. A few minutes later, the app indicates a successful update. The app shows that the router is running the new version.
Within an hour or so, I query the version again and find that the router has reverted to v.1.2.0.74. The router still runs, serves up WiFi and communicates with the Internet. How can I make it upgrade?
A side issue, I can't reach the router's Web interface on http://www.routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 via WiFi or Ethernet.

A couple of support articles to get you started.

It appears the most recent firmware is 1.2.0.92. You can find it here. Manual update is recommended. Be sure and unpack the firmware from the zip file.

That might not be the "side issue" that you think. If you can't get in there then the advice to do a manual update won't work.
Start with this problem and then worry about the firmware.
If the link that Kitsap provided doesn't get you out of that hole, it might be a good idea to tell us what the modem/gateway is between the router and the Internet.
