R7450 allow 2.4 ghz devices

Question

Netgear NighthawkAC2600 smart wifi routerModel R7450I have two different models of robot cleaners which require 2.4ghz to accept the WIFI password. The error given in both cases is: “Incorrect internet password”. I understand that means the connection remains set to 5 ghz.Question: how can I temporary&nbsp; change the setup to 2.4 ghz to attach my devices and then change the setup back to the dual setup?Please explain to me as you would a 6 yo and graphics if useful to illustrate.Thank you

fully aware of that.&nbsp;
So disable smart connect as I'd advised. Then you name the 2 networks different and you can manually choose which to connect to with your phone. If you're planning on re-enabling smart connect, make sure the 2.4ghz (that&nbsp; youre setting the device up on) is the one with the ssid that the network name will be.&nbsp;

You can simply disable smart connect. You just need to make sure to have your phone on the 2.4ghz during setup of the vacuums.&nbsp;
