R7800 — Nighthawk X4S

Hi. Anyone got this latest firmware 

V1.0.3.92

 on netgear Nighthawk routers and does it cause any issues?

    well, it was released in september so if there was issues, you'd see them on the forums.

    Can give it a try. The R7800 is now EoL so won't see much updates for this model router.

    Best option would be to use Voxel FW as he maintains a good alternative FW version for the R7800, R8900 and R9000 model routers. I see he has something new this month for it.

    Working fine here. But my R7800 is in AP mode. It basically there for ReadySHARE and to support stuff that demands a 2.4 GHz connection. Easily turned on and off without disrupting everything else.

     


    Just another user with time on their hands.
