R7800 share attached USB drive like a NAS?
I need to access a lot of Final Cut Pro libraries and don't want to be tethered to my HDD device. My Macbook has 3x3 MiMo so I was hpoing to use the R7800 in the same room to serve me access to the hard drive but I cannot figure out how this is done. I can plug things into the USB ports and the log states USB device attached, but the Readyshare screen never shows anything and all KB tutorials for typing SMB and such simply do not work. If I can make my USB attached drives a network location in Mac finder and can get at least 100MB/s read speed I would be happy. Any suggestions?

What format is the drive in?

You won't see 100MB/s out of that device over usb. Here's some more realistic numbers.

Have you setup ReadySHARE on the router?
I have no idea what your screen grab is from. Something Mac?
Is everything in your local network or are you hoping to tunnel in over the Internet? I the latter, have you set up ReadyCLOUD?
One thing that hit Windows users was the SMB setting in Windows.

I have no idea if this hits Macs, but it may give you some pointers.
