R8000 Nighthawk AC3200 Router has no internet connection
After my power went out for a brief time yesterday afternoon, my R8000 Nighthawk router factor reset itself. I could still connect to the network but there was no internet connection. After several router resets and setups trying to get the internet to work, I have given up.
It has worked a couple times after completing the setup, but it seems whenever i try to connect my laptop it stops working again. Firmware has been updated as well.
Also it seems the problem is with wireless connections. All lights on the router are white, no amber.
Could the random reset have messed up some settings or do you guys think I need a new router?

1. what modem/gateway is it connected to?
2. what firmware is on the router?
3. maybe something was corrupted in the power failure. Try reinstalling the firmware to the router manual. Then do a factory reset on both the router and the modem. once both are reset. power them both down for 2 minutes. Then boot up the modem and give it 2 minutes. then boot up the router and try to install it.
