R8000 Nighthawk Not Capable of 1Gbps WAN

So I've been doing some digging and found that the R8000 Netgear Nighthawk supports 1Gbps on the WAN port but the problem when you use the Router with PPPoE, CTF is disabled and/or the CPU cannot kee...

Do you have an R8000? That firmware is old, latest is V1.0.4.18_10.1.49. Might want to give that one a try? I ask as that version number is also for an R7500v2 and D8500.

I should of mentioned... I was on the latest firmware and was reverting to an old firmware to see if I could avoid the CFT/NAT Accelleration being disable when using PPPoE.
