R8000 Nighthawk security upgrade

I finally got round to this upgrade.  After downloading and unzipping the file, logging on over ethernet, Advanced/Admin/Router update, browse the file, the progress bar disappears after a few second...

    Hi kwzrex,

     

    Reset the router first before loading the firmware. Make sure to use wired connection while loading.

Sorry for the delay, I travel for work, so haven't been home to give it a try.  The reset before reflashing worked and I was able to get the security update done.
