The fix for the R7900 is in the R7900 beta firmware, so to get the fix you would need to update to that.

It doesn't appear that the 7900 is affected, at least that's how I interpret the availability of a beta, rather than the tested, tried and true production version. But then again, I do not like uncertainty. Perhaps a Netgear rep can confirm the need to update the firmware for owners of the 7900, like scardona, me and others....
