Jan 28, 2022R8000 Update stuck and will not boot back up after latest firmware upgrade.
I did a firmware upgrade last night and now the system can't connect. All the lights were on like it was working and nothing was working.
After 2 hours I rebooted. Now the system just cycles. All lights then it looks like it tries to boot because I get an occasional ping response but then it reboots.
I tried doing a factory reset and nothing. Any ideas??
try the nmrpflash then

You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

The tftp isn't working because the R8000 is cycling. I tried running a ping in a separate cmd window so I could time the tftp as soon as I see it reply but it stops replying before the transfer finishes and I get a "Connect request failed"
