R8000 WPA-key for HP6400 printer network setup

I updated the firmware on our router. It changed all the names of the 3 channels and now I have to re-add all the home devices to the home network.

the last one is the HP j6400 series printer that has worked for years.

While re-setting it up it wants the wpa-key.

i thought it would be the password. HOPE

what is the WPA-key and where do I find it?

its not the MAC address is it?

THANKS in advance

  • Greetings,

This is the pasword for your wireless network.

Note: The firmware on some older HP printers does not support WPA/WPA2-PSK [AES] and only supports WPA Security [TKIP].
