R8000P dropping wifi connection

So I updated to Firmware V1.4.0.10 5 days ago. So far no internet drops :smileyhappy:
Haven't tried installing my USB hardrive to see if network storage works again. Just updating everyone.

Please reply back on here to let us know how you made out after the Firmware rollback. When I did mine, i Did NOT Use smart connect as my personal feelings think it's a waste and does NOT work as intended. I'm having better luck use the 3 separate SSID's. I just hate using old, outdated firmware on a Router that cost me over $300.00 :(

The rollback to the previous version caused my router to reboot itself. Prior to that was freezing, now rebbots itself every other hour or so. Rolling back to an even earlier version didn't do anything. It's worth doing the following to have some sort of success:
1 - Download to your PC the soft version you want to use.
2 - Reset the router to factory settings
3 - Upload the soft version you want to use immediately.
4 - Pray and hope.

Try version 1.0.3.54. it has been very stable for most of us
