Reboot disaster Nighthawk
On Mac I’m in routerlogin.net I clicked update firmware, seemed fine until it kept asking me to sign in when I’m already signed in. Now in advanced “router information” it says “reboot” I click it tells me rebooting will disrupt traffic on network, I proceed by saying “ok” it asks me yet again to sign in, I do so, now “the router is rebooting it could take up to two minutes for changes to take effect” bar shows movement then bar fills as complete but it just freezes there forever, not 2 minutes ore like 5, , now asks me to sign in AGAIN , it then brings me right where I started under Advanced “router information” and tells me to reboot! Please help, driving me nuts.

Factory reset the router by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds then release. Walk thru the setup wizard at 192.168.1.1 with a PC and web browser.

Are you wired to the router or on wifi?
What modem/gateway, if any, sits in front of your router?
How did you start the update? Using the browser graphical user interface (GUI)?
If you can regain control of the thing, a manual update is more controllable at your end. It can also pick up updates that yet to reach the update server.
