red internet light
I have a Nighthawk AX6 model # . The internet light which is the second one down is red. what does that mean and what do I have to do to fix it?

Check out the user manual to see what the LED colors mean.
Try a power OFF of the ISP Modem and router for 1 minute then back ON.
Is this the R8000 model router?

If the other LEDs are as expected, this is usually a sign that your router is not connecting to the Internet.
So the first thing to check is the modem. Does that look OK?
If that is OK, your next move should be to restart the network, not just the modem.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
If that doesn't work, tell us what the router is and the make and model of the modem.
