Restarting nighthawk

Hello,

I have to restart my router each morning because for some reason it stops putting out wifi every day. We didnt use to have the problem and then when we got FIBER wifi installed we have had to start restarting the wifi. We have contacted cox multiple times and it is nothing on there end. So then we tried calling netgear and they want us to pay $90 for someone to walk us through steps for a possible fix over the phone. The system is up to date so i am unsure of another possible fix. Any suggestions?

    More details might help.

    1. what fibre ont/gateway was installed?

    2. What firmware is on the router?

    3. Its only started since the change to fibre?

    4. Do wired devices have issue or only wireless?

i am not sure what gateway was installed, I am unsure how to find that out. But it just started when we got the fiber wifi. We only had to reset it once or twice in three months of traditional wifi. The firmware is V1.0.4.102_10.0.75

When the fiber gateway has its own wireless, it tends to indicate that its a gateway/router combo device. which can cause double nat issues.

look at whatever box is plugged into the R6400 for a model number and post it back here. If it is a modem/router combo device, then it'd be worth putting the R6400 in access point mode (easiest fix).

We also dont have any devices plugged into the device so i am unsure if it is only wireless
