Slow broadband speed on extender
Have normal download speed of 65+
Our 2-3 year old extender has decided to take it easy and we achieve download speed of 16!!
Not techno savvy - any quick ideas to resolve- apart from new extender - please?

the WN3000RP is an older N300 device.
it was never high performing in the first place. Max speeds tending to be around that 30mbps if it had a good signal and good placement.
Add in distance/interference, those numbers drop.
You can try moving the extender around and try changing the channel the primary router uses for 2.4ghz.
that can help with performance. but you shouldn't expect to hit 65+mbps on that extender.

Even the newest version dates back to 2015.
