Spectrum modem upgrade to connect to RS400.

Community,

I recently upgraded my home network to Spectrum's 1Gig Mbps service, up from the 400 Mbps service, connected to my RS400 Nighthawk Router. Is the RS400 sufficient for 1Gig Mbps network?

I have smart home technology with multiple extenders, repeaters, and relays, most of them are NETGEAR brand, and others are quality brands compatible with the RS400, they are necessary because of my WiFi load, and the depth (front to back distance) of my home.

Thank you,

Randy

The RS400 is capable of wired gigabit speeds. Its not going to hit gigabit wireless speeds but close to all AC routers won't either.

And even most AX routers won't hit gigabit unless you have a compatible wireless AX device and are close enough.

so will it hit work for your network? Sure.

Does it provide all the speed that your network needs? Thats up to you to determine
