Which one are we referring to here? The R7000 or the Ziggo?
If you plan to put the R7000 into AP mode, I find it easier to detach the router from the rest of the network. Connect it to a PC with an Ethernet connection. Go into its controls in the usual way and put it into AP mode.
Then turn it off. Connect it to the modem/router. Reboot the modem/router.
Wait for the modem to establish its internet connection. Now turn on the R7000 in AP mode. All being well, it will connect to the internet.
When it is in AP mode, it will get itself an IP address from the modem/router. You can then use that to access the controls on the R7000.
The Netgear advice is less than complete.
How do I configure my Nighthawk router as a wireless repeater? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
The above is based on my experience with this procedure. But not knowing what the Ziggo might be there could be wrinkles.

Thanks for you reply.
I want the R7000 to become the repeater and unfortunealty your suggestion does not work cause there is no way to put it in any mode, it just stays in router mode.

That means that you are getting something wrong. But given the lack of information you provide on what you are doing, who knows where you err.
I have just been through exactly that process with a spare R7000P I have lying around. It works.
Let's try again.
- Remove R7000 from your network
- Turn it on
- Wait for all the lights to settle down
- Optional step factory reset R7000
- Connect PC to LAN port on R7000 and nothing else (it might help to disable wifi)

- Advanced Setup

- Follow the prompts and warnings
- Apply
- Wait for R7000 to reboot
- Plug R7000 LAN port into router LAN port
Note that doing this will change the IP address of your R7000. If you try to access the R7000 after it is on your network, it may well try to connect to your router.

Hi Michal
I dont under stand why you write : "But given the lack of information you provide on what you are doing, who knows where you err."
I have given all the information as fas as I know. And I also wrote that the R7000 isnt respinding to any button to get it into another modes.
I even cant switch off the Wifi channels (2,4 and 5)....not responding. It's not that I don't have knodgelegde at all but the way the router react atm I cant follow. I also dont know what err I possible can make.
So I'm kinda lost what else I can do. Isn't there the slight possibility that the router is broken?
Due to work abroad I wont be able to read or responce. Late Tuesday or wednesday Im able to continue this road :) (Hope you too)

I have read your messages, several times. They do not tell me what you do and what the results are.
Here is what we know from your description:
Atm its in my network and I can login to it but I can't switch it to another mode, like AP or Repeater. I think I tried everything but what ever I try, no result. I followed the manuals available on the Netgear pages. I reset the modem/router to factory default and manualy restarted it many time. Btw, the only way to restart it is by switching the power button off.
Sorry, but that is useless for diagnosing what is happening.
You say:
"I think I tried everything"
What do you mean by everything?
Then there is:
"I reset the modem/router to factory default and manualy restarted it many time."
Fine, what next?
And:
"the only way to restart it is by switching the power button off"
What point are you making there? Do you expect to see some other move you can make?
I described a very detailed process that you should follow.
Go through it a step at a time.
If one step fails for you, report back with which step you were on and what you saw.
It may well be that your device is dead, but my bet is on failure to follow the instructions at some crucial staged.
It may be that my explanation is confusing. That happens. If so, tell us which but puzzles you and we can see if there is a better explanation.
Enjoy abroad.
