Telnet on R8000

Hi, I searched all the forum for a definitve answer, but i found very few regarding R8000.

I have 1.0.4.84 and I'm trying to enble telnet in order to configure WOL from internet.

- debug page doesn't have item

- Telnetenable doesn't work

- nte doesn't work

 

Is there anybody who succeded enabling telnet on a R8000?

 

Reading THIS i will try to set default password as soon as possible: it seems that the user found the solution for his R7000.

    I believe for security reasons, NG has removed telnet from all of it's products.

      That happened with firmware updates.

       

      If this is for a temporary issue, reverting to older firmware might work.

      You may have an option there to enable telnet.

       

      It is not a good idea to leave the router on older firmware without the security updates that came with newer releases.
