I have attempted the TFTP method via CMD and am also getting the Connect request failed error. This is for a Netgear Nighthawk X6s R8000p that appears to be in some type of boot loop.

Is there any hop to recover this router or is it bricked? any suggestions welcome.

Does a 30-30-30 reset change anything?

Try using NMRPFlash?&nbsp;

If any of this all fails, router would need to be replaced.
