Use the Nighthawk R7000 with another Router?
I have been using my Nighthawk R7000 for years with an independent network provider. I live in a large apartment (3200 sq. ft.) in a Condo. Last week the Condo Association changed our TV service ov...

The two usual options would be: 1. Configure your (unspecified) "a
Comcast Modem/Router" as a modem-only, and use the R7000 as a
full-function router, or: 2. Configure the R7000 as a wireless access
point.
Without an actual model number, I don't know what you can do how with
your (unspecified) "a Comcast Modem/Router".
For the R7000 as WAP, visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your
model number, and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look
for "Use the Router as a Wireless Access Point".

Thanks for the reply. I'll try the wireless access first, then if that doesn't improve things I have talked to Comast and they can remotely disconnect the Router portion of their Modem/Router and turn it over to the Nighthawk.
