Using R7000 with C7000
So I'm looking to do software updates and use the nighthawk app, but everytime I use the app I get an error saying can not find router even though I am connection to the router in my home with the C7000 internet turn off because I just use it as a modem because the c7000 is out of date and is unable to be used with the app. How do I fix this

C7000[v1] or C7000v2? Look for "Model" on the product label.

Nothing to do with anything?

Of what? You can't change the C7000[vX] firmware.

Forget the app, and use a web browser?

What, exactly, did you do to the C7000? Disable its router, or
disable its radios, or what?Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your cable modem+router
model number, and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at
least). Read. Look for "Cable Your Modem Router to a Router and Use
Bridge Mode" and "Control the Wireless Radios". Which did you do?
Further reading might not hurt, either.> [...] How do I fix this
I'm not yet sure what "this" is.
