Using r7000p in AP mode any benefits to enabling VLAN for it?
I have my r7000 as mymain router hooked up to my fiber ONT from the ISP. I dont have wifi on that router I just have 4 ethernet wall outlets hooked up to it which lead to my xbox one, a pc, a roku a...

What would you expect that to do for you?

What about the outer router (R7000)? Would that still be a router?
Do you want to cascade multiple routers, with all the problems which
that can cause?
I don't know exactly how your wiring is arranged, but if your
distribution hub is near the ONT, then that would seem to be the best
place for your (only) router. If you want to have a wireless access
point elsewhere, then do that.
Your current arrangement seems about optimal to me. You seem poised
to screw it up. What about it bothers you?
