Thanks for your prompt help.
After configuring the VoIP phone as the Default DMZ Server, both the incoming calls to the VoIP phone and outgoing calls from the VoIP phone work now.
I will do more tests in the several upcoming days to see if it keeps working and if it works in other scenarios, I will have the results posted.
According to the R7000 User Manual (May of 2017), page 119, as below.
"DMZ servers pose a security risk. A computer designated as the default DMZ server loses much of the protection of the firewall and is exposed to exploits from the Internet. If compromised, the DMZ server computer can be used to attack other computers on your network"
Since what I have exposed is just a VoIP phone, I guess the risk is very limited, right?

Yes that is correct since this is not a computer that can be used to access local devices.
