VPN connection from OpenVPN Android on R7000

I am no more able to connect to the VPN of my R7000 with the last OpenVPN app on Android.

I think is a problem of compatibility but I don't know how to solve it.

    Has anything changed recently?

Try a power OFF of the ISP Modem and router for 1 minute then back ON.

Try a full on factory reset and setup from scratch...

    What happens when you try?

What firmware version is on your R7000? (Or is it the R7000P in your footer?)

  • On your Android device, the OpenVPN application keeps a log file.  It may contain information on why the connection is not being made successfully.

How old is the profile configuration file on your Android device?  If your router has had a recent firmware update you may have to update the configuration file on your Android device.

I solved using the OpenVPN connect app on Android and it works perfectly.

The other one (OpenVPN for Android) can't connect.
