Whats up with this R7000 (odd light pattern)
I picked up a r7000 ( no clue if its stock fw or something else). When I plug it flashs some lights then cycles the following pattern.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (3 sec)
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (1 sec)
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (1 sec)
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (1 sec)
I havent been able to find anything about this lighting pattern.
Is this bricked?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Would my next step be: https://www.myopenrouter.com/article/how-debrick-or-recover-netgear-r7000-r6300v2-or-r6250-wi-fi-routers

You did do a factory reset as soon as you got it?

What do the LEDs look like after it has been through its disco routine? The state of the power LED is the giveaway.

I tired to factory reset and it still does the same thing.
The disco routine never stops. It keeps repeating the same cycle over and over.- NisinAspirant
I tried tftp following this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-client
Thing is, it doesnt seem to connect.
I had the Network Connections window open in windows and noticed the connection would say
Enabled
Identifying
Netowrk cable unpluggedSeemed rather random and not corresponding with the the lights.
Sometimes it would do it twice in a row and other times nothing.
