Could you please exchange the non working disks to the working bay and check to confirm whether the disk or main unit have the issue.

Ok well, I removed drive 1 from bay 1 and installed it into bay 2 then took the original drive from bay 2 and put that into bay 1 and all is working as it should now. So I have no idea at this point why bay 2 stopped seeing my drive.
After the swap I took drive 2 out, cleaned it with DISKPART and reinstalled it back into bay two. The system rebuilt the array of about 2 terabytes in 12 hours.
So no solution at this time and I would consider this issue closed unless I have any further trouble.
