Brand New RS700 terribly slow speeds

Yes, definitely upgrade then manually to latest version. It fixes some issues. IF, you run into problems like some others. Hopefully you won’t like myself, revert back to firmware you are on now.

What firmware version are you running? This is definitely abnormal and should not be happening. You also might have got a bad unit. The auto update firmware is not pushing out the latest version btw. You need to install it manually by downloading it from the Netgear website. Some folks have reported issues with that version though and a trial one is available by reaching out to Netgear. I’m also not sure why Netgear continues to leave up the reported problematic latest firmware on their website. At the same time, in my case. I have not had issues with it myself. YMMV

I figured clicking the check for updates would have updated it…. I manually updated the firmware and seems like it’s back to normal. 850down 750up wireless.wired 950down 950 up.
