Buffalo NAS on RS700

does anyone have a buffalo NAS connected to the RS700?

i am trying to keep it on a closed home network.

i am not sure how to configure on the router side..

    Netgear routers do not allow connections from the internet unless the user has specifically allowed them by

    • Forwarding specific ports to specific devices on the LAN
      (see page 169 of the User Manual), or
    • Enabled Universal Plug and Play (UPnP)
      (see page 108 of the User Manual)

    Should you want to enable access to this NAS from the internet, the place to state is with the NAS user manual.

    Something to ask the Buffalo support site or community about. They should have more info on how to secure connections with there NAS to any router.
