DHCP assignment issues on RS700 are not fixed
Trial Firmware for me too please. DHCP assignment issues on RS700 are not fixed with the October release 1.0.9.16_2.0.106. Options also seems skimpy in the configuration settings. Thanks!!
Will likely apply the update today. Timing was better after the holidays. I'll check back after a bit and let you know.

So I flashed it the day of my last reply. Saturday, my wife's PC had the issue occur. In fact, for some reason, the issue with hers is always Saturday. Mine, Seems like hit and miss on that day. Both didn't have the issue with the previous router, the RAX120v2 with the overheat/dead fan issue that this one replaced.
So please give details on how you are setting up DHCP IP address assignments. I'll see if I can help test this as I recently got a RS700 to play with.
What is the brand and model# of the Wife PC?
Only happens with her PC?
I've set up some IP address reservations on two of my PCs, Xbox, Iphone and Android pad. Will see if my RS does anything to reproduce this.
So, IP info:
Brands on affected PC's is MyOldAss Built i9 14900k's, wife's on an MSI Carbon z790, and mine is an Asus z790 Dark Hero Motherboard, both with the same intel 226v adapters, Both Win11 Pro PC's. both built Q4 2024. - I'd look between the RS700 and that specific LAN chipset.
Router lives at: 192.168.0.200
DHCP pool is: 192.168.0.20 - 192.168.0.99
I have the problem PC's assigned to reservations outside that pool at:
- My Rig: 192.168.0.100 - Wired.
- Samsung Phone: 192.168.0.101
- Samsung Tablet: 192.168.0.102
- Wife's PC is: 192.168.0.130 - Wired - Assigned recently for testing.
- Dell 2824 PowerConnect Switch: 192.168.0.205
Other items DHCP auto assigned are:
- a Dell network printer (192.168.0.24)
- 2 phones on wireless in the pool.
- 1 NVIDIA shield (wired, dhcp auto assigned addy)
- 1 Formular Android TV box.
- 1 Part time file server (Old intel 3930k workstation i210 adapter)
- 1 Part time Workstation (old 6900k workstation intel i217v adapter)
- 1 Part time Precision Workstation Laptop - Wireless most of the time.
- There are a few Netgear and Dell 8 port switches around the office and AV areas. Management features disabled.
Let me know what else I can tell you. I'd like to see better DHCP configuration settings in the router as well. Lease duration and such.
Will be running WireShark on Saturday morning.
