DHCP assignment issues on RS700 are not fixed
Trial Firmware for me too please. DHCP assignment issues on RS700 are not fixed with the October release 1.0.9.16_2.0.106. Options also seems skimpy in the configuration settings. Thanks!!

A little more info... This issue is not about connection drops, as those posts suggest. The ethernet adapter does not seem to see the DHCP server from the router. Remember, this issue for some reason only seems to happen on Saturday's PC boot-up. Disabling power management functions for the i226, this issue presents itself less, but eventually re-occurs. Today it was my rig that flubbed the DHCP assignment. Yet my wife's PC came up normally, where its usually hers that flubs and not mine. lol.
Errors in windows are showing/pointing to the adapter is not able to see the DHCP server to get its assignments. Manual/Static IP assignments also do not pass through the router. A warn reboot of trouble PC clears the issue for some reason. If I change routers, I have no issues with the other RAX120v2 router assigning IP's. That router has the dead fan/overheat issue so I replaced it with this RS700. I might get a faster card to try next. I'm curious if the router is denying these PC's access intermittently. The RS700 also likes to scan my network PC's ports, setting off BitDefender saying its an attack. I suspect there are issues in the routers software to some degree. I'll look at other adapters and post back. Sorry for the delayed response, but it takes time to analyze an issue that only occurs once a week, and only once at that. Any following PC reboots/boot-ups are fine. Same if I bounce the router. Issue stops and reoccurs intermittently on Saturday morning. That alone smacks of something flubbed in the software. Some function tied to a Saturday event set in the software that we cannot see.

FINALLY. It happened.
On my HP z210 PC Win11 25H2 with Intel i226 ethernet adapter with driver v2.1.5.7 and Energy Effiency and power management enabled on the adapter, after checking the same PC yesterday and leaving it since yesterday, around 10 minutes ago, I woke the PC from sleep with the mouse and low and behold the PC didn't get a valid IP address. I checked the front of the router and port#2 is were I have it connected. LED was ON but not blinking. Adatper only getting a 169 IP address. It had 192.168.1.1 for the gateway and such. IP was not a dynamic 192.168.1.x address.
I started debug logging on the RS router. Let it run for a minute. Then used the disable on the adapter card to disable the adatper for 5 seconds then re-enabled the card. After a few seconds, adapter connected and this time got a valid IP address and internet services.
I went in and disabled the energy efficiency and power management options on the card and will check this PC tomorrow to see if same thing happens again.

So with EE and PM disabled on the adapter, PC sleep then wake to ready, ethernet adatper has been getting an IP address fully and internet access each day I've checked.
