DHCP assignment issues on RS700 are not fixed
Trial Firmware for me too please. DHCP assignment issues on RS700 are not fixed with the October release 1.0.9.16_2.0.106. Options also seems skimpy in the configuration settings. Thanks!!

Yep. The 31.1 archive for 2.5gb and others, does not contain a newer driver than the one I was already using from October. The file time and date stamps are from 2025, with only the readme file as changed/updated, So, I'll try again when Intel actually releases something for these adapters. I discovered this not long after release. The only update I found for any of my hardware was for the KillerWifi on the laptop, that also exhibited this issue. I installed the driver to this machine 2 weeks back, and this past Saturday, it did not show the issue. Sunday, I installed the newest Beta firmware on the RS700 as well. So waiting again for Saturday. I sure as HELL would like to know what/why this occurs on this regular of a schedule. I'd love to see the code or what is governing this schedule. If they would start there, they'd find the problem.
I have my RS700 online and my one Intel I226-V testing again this week. Will see if I can reproduce anything this week. 1Gb port. Same PC connected to my RS600 could not reproduce.
Could be something on your PC as well.
Also a work around that may help would be to disable Power Management and Ethernet Efficiency on the adapter as well. I've been testing with this enabled as well.
Good for you. I think this discussion is in the weeds and running in circles. I discovered the power management settings months ago, and tried and failed to stop the issue. The only common software would be the basics like BitDefender, Firefox, Office, MSI Afterburner, etc. The rest is specialized. Nothing stopping IP assignments. Again, I will remind you that this issue goes away the very second I use another router, including the netgear router that this one replaced (which had a different unresolved issue overheating, and requiring an outside cooling fan plus frequent reboots).
I'll stick with one discussion with WarmHelp_NTGR -privately via site messenger from this point forward. For sake of control over the resolution. I will post findings here. Posting driver and firmware release information here would be useful, as I had to discover some of these items on my own.
Did you also disable Ethernet Efficiency in the adapter advanced settings as well?
All this is on topic and not in the weeds. We are on same track. Want to find the resolution is all.
