Was a factory reset performed after v1.2.7.2 was loaded and setup from scratch to see if this changed anything?
What channels are being used on the RS router? Try manual channels 1 and 40 or 11 and 48?
Static IP addressed devices are addresses set ON devices, not the router. IP address reserviations are set ON the router.
Try changing the default WiFi SSID name from default to something else. Not reccommended to use the default SSID name.

- I have not tried a factory reset on v.1.2.7.2.
- I have channel 1 on 2.4ghz, channel 36 on 5gzh and neither are crowded.
- The devices that have a static IP on device, not the router.
Downgrading to 1.0.6.22 has been working stable for over 3 days now. I don't really know if it is a configuration issue on my side or a firmware bug with DHCP.

For static IP address ON devices, make sure the IP address resides OUTSIDE of the DHCP IP address pool range. You'll need to adjust the default DHCP IP address pool range to accommodate these static IP addresses so they are outside of the pool range.
I guess use what works for you for now then check again on next FW update.
