Which WiFi extender is this?
EX8000 - https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/networking/wifirangeextenders/ex8000_ds.pdf
or EXA80 - https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/networking/wifirangeextenders/eax80.pdf
It might help the engineers diagnose the problem if they know something about "some wireless devices". i.e. What devices are they?
and perhaps more detail about "Cannot connect".
- They do not detect the WiFi SSID broadcast by the extender?
- They attempt to connect and receive an error message?
- They connect but have no internet?

It's the EAX80. Sorry, I put the wrong model number in my post.
I'm not exactly sure what they are doing but I am not able to access these devices through their respective apps:
Pet Safe automatic feeder - Shows as offline
Samsung Smart Switch- Shows as offline
Geenie Flood Light - Shows as offline
I think they are connecting but not able to reach the internet. The reason I say this is the Geenie Flood Light is not flashing (disconnected from network) but it is offline in the app.
Hope this helps.

If you turned OFF the EAX do these devices connect to the RS router at all or are they too far way?
Does the EAX80 show as connected too the RS using the RS web page?

They are too far away. That's why I had them on the extender. Sigh.
Yes, it shows as connected.
