Please try a factory reset and setup from scratch to see if this helps resolve loses power or reboots.
What do you mean by IP and name changes?

However, if most of the devices loses power or gets rebooted, they do not connect back automatically most of the time. I have to go into the device app/settings and reconnect it to WiFi and the Netgear router. They all have connected back fine but I woudl think they should connect back automatcially if they or the Netgear routers gets rebooted. That is the only issue I am seeing with the trial firmware.
My understanding is the trial firmware doesn't address the IP and name changes which is still happening frequently.

When I put in device names for each of the devices that attach through the GUI or the App, after a few days, the names are "moved" to other devices. They don't stick to the device I assigned the model and name to if that makes sense. Also, some of the devices are not staying connected and will intermittently disconnect and most of the time reconnect back but do not stay connected all the time. I had performed a factory reset right after I upgraded the to the beta firmware version 1.0.9.12 and it worked great for a few days but then the connectivity issued show back up at least for me.
This morning out of frustration, I reverted back to firmware version 1.0.7.96 and did another factory reset, I am in the double digits on factory resets on this router and everything seems to be working fine now but I just did that this morning so I will see how things go over the next several days. I am not sure if my experieince is similar to other users and I am not sure if it is the firmware, the router itself or the combination of both.
I have placed an order for a TPLink Archer router and will most likely install that if these issues persist and try to get some type of refund or sell the Nighthawk router depending on if the TPLink lives up to its reputation or not. If you have any suggestions, I would more than welcome them. This has been a time consuming and frustrating endeavor with this router. I thought I was buying top of the line to avoid issues but maybe it is just my luck.
